This 10 minute practice is a quick and gentle way to warm up your body and prepare it for the activities you have planned. We start off warming up the spine by moving it through, what’s called in yoga, the six movements of the spine. This is followed by different variations of sun salutations to get your blood flowing and your body warm. You’ll begin to feel energized and more mobile, which will bring you confidence while performing your sport.
Use this practice as a way to gently introduce your body to movement and warm it up for exercise after long periods of inactivity, like after a night’s sleep or after a long day of sitting at the office.
